Terms & Conditions.

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of synergytherapeuticsolutions.com (the "Site") and any therapeutic services provided by SYNERGY Therapeutic Solutions ("SYNERGY," "we," "us," or "our"). By accessing the Site or engaging our services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site or engage our services.

1. About SYNERGY

SYNERGY Therapeutic Solutions is a private clinical practice founded and led by Mariah Funderburg, LMFT, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist credentialed in Arizona, Nevada, and California. We provide bespoke immersive therapeutic engagements for couples in crisis. All clinical services are delivered under the licensure and ethical standards of the AAMFT and the licensing boards of the states in which we are credentialed to practice.

2. Eligibility

Our services are intended for adults aged 18 and older. To engage SYNERGY services, both partners must consent to participate, must be legally able to enter into a contract, and must agree to the conditions of the engagement as outlined during the application and intake process. We reserve the right to decline any application based on clinical fit, ethical considerations, or our professional judgment.

3. Scope of Services

SYNERGY offers three tiers of therapeutic intensives (Level 01 Foundational, Level 02 Restorative, and Level 03 Comprehensive Restoration), the Power Hour consultation, and supplementary educational content. Detailed descriptions of each service are provided on the Site. The specific structure of each engagement is determined during the application and intake process and is documented in your engagement agreement.

4. Therapeutic Relationship

Clinical Boundaries

SYNERGY services are bound by the ethical standards of the AAMFT and the licensing boards of Arizona, Nevada, and California. The therapeutic relationship begins at the start of the engagement and concludes at the end of the contracted post intensive integration period. SYNERGY does not provide ongoing weekly therapy outside of the structured integration sessions included in your engagement.

Confidentiality and Limits

All communications and clinical work are held in confidence under HIPAA and applicable state law, with the exceptions required by law: mandated reporting of suspected child, elder, or vulnerable adult abuse; credible threats of serious harm to self or others; and any other disclosure required by court order or legal process. These exceptions are fully outlined in the Notice of Privacy Practices provided at intake.

Not a Substitute for Emergency Care

SYNERGY services are not designed for emergency mental health intervention. If you or your partner are experiencing a mental health emergency, including thoughts of self harm, harm to others, active substance use crisis, or untreated psychiatric symptoms, please contact your local crisis line, dial 988 (the Suicide and Crisis Lifeline), or go to the nearest emergency room.

5. Application and Acceptance

All engagements at SYNERGY are by application only. Submission of an application does not constitute acceptance. Each application is reviewed personally and may be accepted, declined, or redirected based on clinical fit. We reserve the right to decline any application without providing detailed reasons. If declined, you may be referred to alternative resources or services that may be a better fit for your situation.

6. Booking and Payment

Power Hour

Power Hour consultations are booked through our scheduling platform and paid at the time of booking via our payment processor. Payment is required to confirm the booking. The current rate is $200. If you proceed to a full intensive engagement following the Power Hour, the $200 will be credited toward your engagement fee.

Intensive Engagements

Once an application is accepted, you will receive an engagement agreement specifying the scope, dates, location parameters, and total investment for the engagement. A non refundable deposit is required to confirm the dates, secure the location, and reserve clinical staff time. The remaining balance is due according to the schedule outlined in your engagement agreement.

7. Cancellation and Refunds

Our refund policy is detailed in full on our Refund Policy page. The summary below is provided for clarity.

• Power Hour: 48 hour cancellation policy applies. Cancellations made more than 48 hours before the scheduled time receive a full refund. Cancellations within 48 hours are non refundable.
• Intensive Engagements: Once dates are confirmed and the location is booked, the engagement is non refundable. Partial refunds may be considered case by case for documented emergencies, reviewed at our sole discretion.

8. Rescheduling

Rescheduling requests are reviewed individually. For Power Hour bookings, rescheduling is permitted with at least 48 hours notice and is subject to availability. For intensive engagements, rescheduling once dates and location have been confirmed is rarely possible and may incur additional fees to cover staffing and venue costs already committed. Rescheduling requests must be submitted in writing to hello@synergytherapeuticsolutions.com.

9. Discretion and Confidentiality Agreements

For couples requiring elevated discretion, mutual non disclosure agreements are available and standard at the Level 03 tier. These agreements supplement, but do not replace, our standard clinical confidentiality obligations. Any non disclosure agreement is bidirectional, binding both the clinician and the clients to specified confidentiality terms.

10. Use of the Site

Intellectual Property

All content on synergytherapeuticsolutions.com, including text, images, branding, the assessment instrument, the educational guides, and the design elements, is the property of SYNERGY Therapeutic Solutions or licensed for our use. You may view and download materials for personal, non commercial use only. Reproduction, redistribution, or commercial use of any Site content without written permission is prohibited.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Site for any unlawful purpose, to attempt to gain unauthorized access to any portion of the Site, to interfere with the Site's operation, or to misrepresent your identity. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Site at our discretion.

Third Party Links

The Site may contain links to third party services (such as our scheduling platform, payment processor, or external resources). We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or terms of any third party services.

11. No Guarantees

While SYNERGY services are grounded in evidence based therapeutic frameworks and delivered by licensed clinicians, we do not guarantee any specific outcome. Therapeutic results depend on many factors, including the specific dynamics of the relationship, the active engagement of both partners, and circumstances beyond clinical control. By engaging our services, you acknowledge that no specific outcome has been promised or warrantied.

12. Disclaimers

The Site is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. The educational content on this Site, including the assessment, the freebie guide, and the email content, is for general informational purposes only and does not constitute clinical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Reading our content does not establish a clinician client relationship. A clinician client relationship is established only through a formal engagement agreement and intake process.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, SYNERGY Therapeutic Solutions, Mariah Funderburg LMFT, and our affiliates, employees, and contractors shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Site or our services. Our total liability for any direct damages shall not exceed the amount you have paid to us in the twelve months preceding the claim.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability for fraud, gross negligence, willful misconduct, or any liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

14. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless SYNERGY Therapeutic Solutions and its affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your breach of these Terms, your misuse of the Site, or any harm caused by your conduct in violation of applicable law.

15. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the state in which the relevant clinical service was provided or, for general Site use, by the laws of the State of Arizona, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes will be resolved through good faith negotiation first, followed by binding arbitration in the relevant state if negotiation does not result in resolution. You waive any right to participate in a class action.

16. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The Effective Date at the top of this page indicates when the Terms were last revised. Continued use of the Site or our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. Material changes affecting active clients will be communicated directly.

17. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full effect.
